The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct an open examination for recruitment of Constable (General Duty) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), National Investigation Agency (NIA) & Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination 2022. 

SSC GD को शुरू में गार्ड या एस्कॉर्ट के रूप में नियुक्त किया जाता है। जीडी कांस्टेबल को सब-इंस्पेक्टर और असिस्टेंट सब-इंस्पेक्टर की अनुपस्थिति में सभी कार्यों और कर्तव्यों का पर्यवेक्षण करना चाहिए। जीडी कांस्टेबलों को जांच के लिए केस भी मिल सकते हैं। एसएससी जीडी कांस्टेबल को एसएचओ की देखरेख में काम करना होता है और उनके निर्देशों का पालन करना होता है।
