14 मई 1917 को महान शिक्षाविद् और परोपकारी, राय केदार नाथ द्वारा स्थापित, रामजस कॉलेज हिंदू कॉलेज और स्टीफन कॉलेज के बाद दिल्ली का सबसे पुराना कॉलेज है। प्रारंभ में यह पंजाब विश्वविद्यालय, लाहौर से मध्यवर्ती स्तर तक संबद्ध था। पुरानी दिल्ली में दरिया गंज के विनम्र परिसर से शुरुआत हुयी।
